My name is Ian Miller.   Andrew and I have the same Grandfather, who many years ago moved to New Zealand.   Our families lost touch and were unaware of each other.

Researching family history in mid-1980s the Asher line led me to Andrew and his father, Archie, on the Isle of Wight.

On a visit to the UK in late 1980s I phoned and it was Andrew who answered.   Andrew was at once welcoming responding "Always wondered if there were more of us".   This led to a bond between us.

Andrew was engaging, generous and our visits with Andrew, Rosemary and family were highlights of our UK trips.
